Services for Professionals

Our PDA Kids provides professional development to allied health practitioners and educators.

With the rise in identification of PDA in Australia, parents and professionals alike seek to increase their understanding and skills in working with children with PDA, and their families.

Whilst PDA is not able to be “diagnosed” in Australia (as it does not appear in the DSM-5 – Diagnostic and Statistical Manual), it is “recognised” in ‘The National Guideline for the assessment and diagnosis of autism in Australia’. So we don’t need to shy away from the conversation, sweep it under the rug, or say “it doesn’t exist”.

Let us break the parental shame and blame cycle that many parents find themselves in by being gaslit, and let’s collaborate for positive outcomes.

Our PDA Kids offers custom training to organisations interested in acquiring greater knowledge of PDA, and how to work with the children, adults and families they support, to have consistent approaches across parents, therapy teams and educational systems.
